1. True IP-Based Audio Distribution
Operating on a real, routable IP address, the Decoder Hub communicates directly across subnets and through standard gateways. It supports native WAN transmission, allowing centralized audio sources to reach remote locations securely and reliably over existing network infrastructure—no additional tunneling or virtual private networks required.
2. Intelligent Zone Management
Break free from legacy “all-call” constraints. The hub functions as a matrix-style audio receiver, enabling independent, scheduled playback to individual or multiple zones simultaneously. Different audio content—such as tones, chimes, or voice messages—can be programmed per zone, allowing complex multi-zone scenarios (e.g., morning announcements in Zone A while playing background music in Zone B) from a single device.
3. Centralized Configuration & Control
Simplify deployment with server-based IP provisioning: assign and configure IP addresses for multiple units directly from the central management software—no manual entry required at each endpoint. Each hub can also be individually accessed and controlled via its unique IP address through a built-in web-based terminal interface.
4. Software-Driven Trigger & Monitoring
Equipped with configurable trigger ports, the hub responds to software-initiated commands for precise event-based audio playback. Real-time operational status—including connectivity, playback state, and zone activity—is displayed intuitively within the Chrome-based monitoring software, offering administrators instant visibility and control from any standard web browser.
