IP Paging Server Overview

The Paging Server is a dedicated, Windows-based solution built on a Browser/Server (B/S) architecture, engineered for reliable public address (PA) and intercom communication over IP networks. Pre-installed with a genuine Microsoft Windows 10 or Windows 11 Pro license, the server is available in two performance tiers—supporting up to 150 or 300 decoder hubs respectively—making it ideal for mid-sized to enterprise-scale deployments.

For smaller installations, a lightweight “mini” mode allows up to 40–50 decoder hubs to operate directly via desktop paging microphones without requiring a central server, supporting up to 15–20 MB of background music or message playback—providing a cost-effective entry point into the IP paging ecosystem.

Key features include:

• B/S architecture optimized for Google Chrome: The entire system—including configuration, monitoring, and control—is accessed exclusively through the Google Chrome web browser for consistent performance and security
• Comprehensive role-based access control (RBAC): User permissions apply uniformly across both desktop paging microphones and web browser functions, enabling administrators to define granular access levels—for example, limiting users to specific zones, message types, or system settings
• Real-time emergency alert handling, system-wide status display, and live monitoring of all decoder hub statuses Integrated server-side Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine for dynamic announcements
• Remote management over LAN or WAN from any location—no client software installation required, with minimal resource usage on end-user devices
